We’re Blind Veterans UK, a charity that helps vision-impaired ex-service people from every generation rebuild their lives regardless of how or when they lost their sight. Founded in 1915, by Sir Arthur Pearson, to help the many veterans losing their sight after the First World War, we have supported those blinded in subsequent wars and military engagements, including the Second World War, and more recently, the conflicts in the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan.

We are currently seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join us on a full-time basis for a fixed-term maternity cover contract until the end of July 2024. We are also open to offering the role on a part-time basis.

The Role
As a Senior Digital Marketing Executive, you will prepare and deliver incredible digital marketing campaigns and activities to drive engagement with our mission.
Facilitating, advising and resourcing digital strategies, you will utilise an array of digital channels to help us meet our engagement, fundraising and organisational goals.
Additionally, you will provide organisation-wide training and support to colleagues in the navigation and use of our digital tools and systems.
You will also:
- Develop and deliver a plan to achieve digital impact
- Work closely with internal teams to maximise digital impact
- Manage the day to day running of the website
- Oversee all social media channels
- Generate, produce and test content
About You
To be considered as a Senior Digital Marketing Executive, you will need:
- Experience in developing and managing integrated digital communication plans
- Experience in customer acquisition and retention via digital channels
- Line management and mentoring and/or people development experience
- Experience in gathering and using analytics and audience insight to inform planning
- A track record of providing training and/or enabling support to others
- To be an experienced user of various organisational CMS
- The ability to generate imaginative, innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex marketing problems
- B2C marketing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Proven experience in a relevant Senior Digital Marketing role
