Housekeeping Co-ordinator
Rustington, West Sussex

You’ll be an experienced cleaner and supervisor with a care home or hotel background, with a strong awareness of COSHH, infection control and manual handling practices.

You’ll play a vital leadership role in the delivery of services at our brand new Centre of Wellbeing in Rustington. You’ll drive exemplary service levels, ensuring that the Centre is presented to the highest standards at all times to support the comfort and rehabilitation of our beneficiaries.

Your Role

You’ll join our Operations Team and deliver a first class standard of cleaning across the Rustington Centre of Wellbeing to ensure a positive experience for residents and visitors.

You’ll provide effective supervision and direction to the housekeeping team, allocating duties, carrying out appraisals, answering queries, training new staff and developing departmental rosters.

You’ll take responsibility to ensure the housekeeping store is adequately stocked and maintain accurate records and reports in relation to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and infection control to ensure a safe environment.

You’ll also pitch in to support the team with cleaning duties.

About You

You’ll be an experienced cleaner from a care home or hotel setting with COSHH, infection control and manual handling awareness that you’ve gained from a previous role or formal training.

You’ll be an experienced supervisor with knowledge of Health and Safety and infection control procedures gained from a housekeeping and laundry environment.

CQC experience is highly desirable.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days with staggered shift patterns.
